South Spring Newsletter
Happy 2007 to all ETAP'ers in the south.
For those of you who have not read the AGM minutes I am the Commodore for the season and this year will double up as South Coast Co-ordinator as well.
Since the last newsletter we had a successful Christmas Cruise to St Malo with Sparkes Cruising Club and Hayling Island Sailing Club. Graham Smith organised a wonderful trip and Dinner on Saturday night with numerous birthday cakes appearing during the evening!
I delighted to say that one of our regular boats Zig-Zag's owners have now purchased a 32s from Harry Wiggins called 'Early Bird'. There was a risk that they were going to leave the fold and buy a CR310 (Swedish??) but things did not work out. I am delighted to say that Carole and David Hadnett should be with us agin this season if they get the boat moved from Burnham back to Beaulieu River where they now have a deeper berth.
